Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

Helen Keller

Helen Keller wrote those famous words in 1957, in her book titled The Open Door.  The words could never ring more true for us back in 2011, as we embarked on the most daring adventure of our lives: traveling the world full-time.

If you're already living the dream you envisioned for your life,'re in rare company. The rest of us are living each day working as hard as we can on things that don't even excite us anymore.

It's as if we're on auto-pilot. The course is plotted, and we're just along for the ride. Intuitively we know there's more to life...yet it somehow feels more secure to leave things on auto, knowing we'll arrive safely at the destination, no matter how uneventful the ride.

Then one day you realize that the journey of life isn't about arriving on time to your final destination, it's about purposely taking some wrong turns, hitting some dead-ends, doubling back, zigging, and zagging.

You wake up from being asleep at the wheel, and decide that you will no longer stand for the insanity of doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

If that sounds more like you, congratulations, you're among friends here. Are you ready for some adventure? Well then time is short. It's never too late, but life isn't going just sit around waiting for you.

You've got to wake up and take action!

Start here. Start now.

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."

What's your big dream? Is it to climb the tallest mountains? Do a triathlon? Travel to every country in the world?

Here's a more important question: How far would you go to make it happen?

Like most people I know, you've got a big dream for your life. You may not have shared it with anyone, or you may have shelved it indefinitely. But all the while it is there...waiting for you to do something about it.

Living The Dream

Living The Dream

Everything Was Impossible Until Someone Did It

I don't know what your big dream is, but I'll tell you's possible. The only thing that stands in the way is you. How do I know this? Because back in 2009, Josephine and I stood where you are right now.

We had this big dream to travel the world long-term. But at the time it seemed impossible given all the obligations we had.

One day we came to realize that no one is obligated to stay on the present course if it no longer serves their highest need.

So that year we made a commitment to ourselves to let go of anything and everything that wasn't directly contributing to our goal of traveling the world together.

And on April 24, 2011 we set off into the unknown...excited, nervous, but mostly happy at the prospect of going on an extended survey of this wonderful world we live in.

If you're still reading up to this point, I'll bet we probably share common interests and passions in one form or another.

Join us, and allow us to give you a glimpse into this awesome world and to share with you the oohs and aahs that happen in our journey to master the art of long-term travel.
